Borderlands 2 Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 Coming Next Week

Expect a level increase as well.

Borderlands 2 continues to roll on, and next week will bring a crucial update to the Vault Hunter’s adventure.

Gearbox Software confirmed that a new Upgrade Pack 2 will release on September 3rd, which will feature the new Digistruct Peak Challenge. It includes a new map, as well as the ability to “overpower” for different challenges. In addition, the level increase will push upwards again, this time to 72.

The pack will cost you $5.00 (400 Microsoft points), and is just the beginning of a new wave of downloadable content for the game, as the first of three new Headhunter packs, T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest, will make its debut this October. The pack will be shown at PAX Prime for the first time this weekend, so if you’re in Seattle, be sure to check it out.

Borderlands 2 is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
