Just because you own a Mac means you should be kept out of the gaming loop. Several publishers are still making top-tier titles for the Apple computer line, and among them is 2K Games, who announced that they are bringing the hit console/PC game Borderlands 2 to the platform later this month.
The game, which follows four unique bounty hunters as they seek revenge against a ruthless tyrant named Handsome Jack, features hours of quests to complete, along with co-op multiplayer. Aspyr Media is handling the game’s transition to Mac.
“Aspyr prides itself on bringing the best in gaming to the Mac audience,” said Ted Staloch, VP of Aspyr Media. “Borderlands 2 is definitely among the best. Most sequels have a hard time living up to the first, but Borderlands 2 manages to improve on every cool aspect of Borderlands, and still finds a way to wrap the player up in a new story with a new experience.”
The game will be available both in physical boxed form and a digital download. No word on pricing, but $49.99 is very likely.
