Not everyone is crazy about buying online content through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, either because they don’t feel like translating their cash into Microsoft points or Sony cash, or just don’t want to wait hours to download it. For those of you who have been itching to get the new Borderlands content, have we got news for you.
2K Games has announced that it will release a special retail-based Add-On Content Pack for Borderlands 2 later this month, and it’ll come with a boatload of goodies for the $30 price. This includes the Mechromancer character, the Captain Scarlett and Mr. Torgue campaigns, a Golden Key, and additional downloadable content, likely some extra skins or what not. Considering it’d normally cost you $40 or more, that’s a fairly good value.
NOTE: This is just the add-on pack and doesn’t come with the game itself, so you’ll still need to pick that up separately if you don’t already own it. Just so you know.
Look for this add-on pack on store shelves on February 26th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
