When Batman: Arkham Origins arrives this October, it won’t just bring another stellar single-player campaign. It’ll also have competitive multiplayer.
For the first time in the series, players will be able to take part in three-team battles. One team will be led by the nefarious Joker, while a second will have the pumped-up villain Bane in charge. Meanwhile, the third team will introduce Batman and Robin as partners.
The criminals will be armed with a variety of weapons and gadgets, while those who play as the Caped Crusader and his ally will be able to use their various tools. These include batarangs, grapple guns and Robin’s trusty staff.
Splash Damage, the development team behind Brink, is behind the multiplayer mode, which will be included in the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game. Unfortunately, the Wii U edition will be without the mode.
Batman: Arkham Origins releases October 25th.
