It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything on Realta Entertainment’s BandFuse: Rock Legends, the latest music/rhythm game in the works for game consoles. However, the project has resurfaced with some great news – the legendary George Lynch is joining the party.
The lead guitarist of Lynch Mob, who was also with Dokken for some time, will provide plenty of playing know-how and rock power to the simulation. “Passing on the guitar skills and knowledge I have learned over the years to guitarists and gamers is super rewarding,” said Lynch. “This is an amazingly fun way to learn how to play guitar and bass and a great alternative to traditional teaching. I am happy to help user in a new era in music gaming.”
Lynch joins other artists like Slash, Bootsy Collins, Zakk Wylde and Five Finger Death Punch, who will help teach folks how to play using real guitars and singing techniques. The soundtrack features entries by Maroon 5, Rush, The Strokes, Heart, Pearl Jam and more.
To top things off, Realta has confirmed that the game will be at E3 next month, where players can give it a shot and see just how well they fare.
BandFuse: Rock Legends will release later this year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
