Top Golf is one of the biggest entertainment franchises in the United States when it comes to sports. This is why it was not surprising to see Top Golf invest in creating esports lounges at six of its locations to embrace the next generation of competitors rising to stardom in the world of gaming.
The Austin, Texas Topgolf venue was one of the six locations that added an esports lounge to its offerings, and it will soon be the location where a significant Gears 5 tournament will be taking place.
This highly anticipated Gears 5 competition sponsored by the fine folks over at New Belgium Voodoo Ranger will be taking place at the Topgolf Austin location at 2700 Esperanza Crossing Austin, Texas on December 9th. Players will compete on teams of four from 5 to 11 pm for the right to call themselves champions and a share of the $1,000 prize pool.
If you are in the area on December 15th and are itching to show off your skills in the high-profile title of Gears 5, you will be doing yourself a disservice by not competing in the Austin Topgolf tournament and taking home some awesome prizes.
Each Topgolf esports lounge comes equipped with a restaurant, bar, 200 HDTVs, free WiFi, and a fully renovated gaming area that would put the smile on any professional gamer’s face.
