Ubisoft announced today that the DLC expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Wrath of the Druids, has been delayed. The DLC was originally scheduled to release at the end of the month on April 29.
Now, the release is set for May 13. Not a huge delay, but something worth knowing about if you were looking forward to Wrath of the Druids this month.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC Wrath of the Druids Delayed
The Wrath of the Druids DLC expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been delayed from April 29 to May 13. The reason for the delay stems from a desire to deliver a more refined experience according to a tweet from the Assassin’s Creed Twitter account.

For those unfamiliar with the Wrath of the Druids DLC, it’s the first major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and is set in Ireland. Here’s a description for the DLC as provided by Ubisoft:
“Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s first major expansion, Wrath of the Druids, launches on April 29 and brings players to Ireland to uncover the secrets of a mysterious ancient cult.
Along the way, you’ll discover the occult forests and haunted landscapes of Gaelic folklore while gaining influence among regional kings. Wrath of the Druids can be purchased as a standalone expansion or is available as part of the Season Pass.”
