The neck-snappin’, momma-killin’ assassin that has infiltrated Apex Legends has an awesome new behind-the-scenes look thanks to the folks over at Respawn. When we first knew Revenant was on the way, we found out by watching him murder the Legend we thought we were getting in the game. Then came his lore video that shows how truly … macabre this character truly is. Now we’re getting to see even more of him because the studio just released some pretty awesome ‘backstage’ footage:

From the dangle of death to his creep onto the scene like he owns the place, it’s really cool to see how it all came together with the actors behind some of our favorite digital faces.

But who is Revenant? According to Respawn, “Revenant used to be human. He was the greatest hitman the Mercenary Syndicate ever had. But when his programming eventually failed, he saw what Hammond Robotics had turned him into: a walking nightmare of steel and vestigial flesh. The return of Hammond Robotics to the Outlands has renewed his thirst for vengeance, and he won’t stop until they’re all dead. Of course, he doesn’t mind eviscerating a few Legends along the way.”

For those that have yet to play as him, the latest Legend is available now! The game is free and Duos has returned, so now is a great time to check out the free-to-play battle royale title if you haven’t already! As for the game itself, Apex Legends is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Still no Nintendo Switch news like Fortnite, but we’re keeping hope alive!
