Amy Hennig, the former Writer and Creative Director for the Uncharted franchise has just been hired by Electronic Arts to work for Visceral Games’ upcoming Star Wars project. It’s unknown which Star Wars project Hennig will be working on, but rest assured the writing will be top notch.
Steve Papoutsis, Vice President and General Manager of Visceral Games had this to say regarding Hennig, “I’ve always admired her approach to creative development – focusing on nailing down the soul of a game first, and then making sure the writing, the gameplay, the design and the art comes together to form a unified, interactive experience for the player.”
Last May, Electronic Arts and Disney inked a deal that allows EA to develop Star Wars games exclusively for at least the next 10 years. With the acquisition of Hennig, it could be a huge boost for the Star Wars games that Visceral will be making for Electronic Arts.
