FINALLY!

007 First Light had plenty of outfits for Bond to choose from, but they were previously limited to TacSim mode, meaning you had to wear the set outfits during the campaign. With the free Extended Operations DLC, that has finally changed, and you can now choose whichever outfit you want during a New Game+ playthrough.

Bond’s Outfits Are Finally Yours to Choose in New Game+

The Extended Operations DLC, otherwise known as Patch 1.3.0, introduces a host of new features, bug fixes, and improvements across the board. For me, though, the highlight, outside of the inclusion of Photo Mode, is the ability to swap outfits during the campaign.

I was pretty disappointed to learn that James’s unique outfits were limited to whatever the developers decided for each mission. The first playthrough still uses the set outfits, but in New Game+ you can choose whatever outfit you want.

It’s a good decision because it doesn’t compromise the dedicated wardrobe for the initial playthrough while giving players more agency and style options for subsequent playthroughs.

To change your outfit, simply access your journal at any point during your NG+ playthrough, select a different outfit, and restart from your chosen checkpoint.

Extended Operations DLC Highlights

Beyond the new outfit options, Extended Operations adds several major features to 007 First Light. Photo Mode is finally here, giving you a dedicated way to capture Bond with adjustable camera settings, overlays, filters, visual effects, and poses.

The new 00 difficulty also offers a tougher challenge, unlocked after beating the main game, with enemies spotting you faster and hitting harder, while gadget resources restore only a fraction of their normal amount.

Weapon handling animations have also been refined across the arsenal, alongside additional TacSim content, including the Jungle Heist and the long-awaited Valhalla Protocol. The latter lets you drive the Aston Martin Valhalla through several scenarios, giving you another way to put Bond’s iconic supercar through its paces.
