Tears of the Kingdom – where to find Mystathi’s Shelf Cave

Mystathi’s Shelf Cave is located in the Gerudo Highlands, along the east side of Gerudo Summit. Before you head in that direction, it’s a good idea to have the Snowquill armor set equipped. At high elevations, prolonged exposure to the cold is harmful.

To easily reach Mystathi’s Shelf Cave, launch from the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower. It is located just about due south. Your destination is the area indicated in the below map screenshot.

As you glide through the air, look for the easy-to-spot Gerudo Summit Chasm. It rests on the west end of a high, snow-covered plateau. Land on that same plateau near the far east side. Jump off it and then immediately open your paraglider. Turn in the air to look back at the side of the cliff you just left. You will see colorful markings shaped like lightning bolts on the wall, around a circular opening. That opening is Mystathi’s Shelf Cave.

Now that you have found the cave, enter it. There is a room to the left that you can explore to find the local Bubbulfrog and secure another Bubbul Gem. In the main chamber, you should see a strange contraption. If you come here after you have earned the Vow of Riju, you can use her ability to light up the device. That raises a gate and you can check the treasure chest for a Large Zonaite. Then you’re done in the cave.
