What is a Flourishing Ecosystem in Planet Zoo 2?

A flourishing ecosystem in a Planet Zoo 2 Wildlife Reserve is a measure of how successful the created ecosystem is, measured by your overall Ecosystem Rating and the Research Rating, alongside other requirements.

Flourishing Ecosystems are required for certain Release Groups, and Ecosystems can only become Flourishing after they are Established and have the required animals the fulfil the right Ecosystem Roles to enrich the area.

Every Release Group tells you the Ecosystem Roles it provides, which you can then check against the Ecosystem you’re creating to identify what’s missing, then target those absences to successfully craft a Flourishing Ecosystem.
