Finesse talents in King’s Bounty II

Let’s talk about the Finesse talents that you can select in the game.
Finesse is all about increasing your hero’s magical capabilities. I prioritized “Magic of Air and Fire” and “Magic of Earth and Ice” because of “Burning Touch” and “Frostblade.” These two spells greatly buff the damage of units by adding fire and ice damage on top of their usual attacks.
Note: If you learn/upgrade spells and reset your talents, you won’t be able to cast them if you don’t meet the talent or Arcane Knowledge requirements.
| Tiers | Talent | Effect |
| I | Magic of: Death and Darkness/Air and Fire/Light and Life/Earth and Ice | Increases the upgrade thresholds for spells. |
| II | Ancient Languages | Increases your hero’s Arcane Knowledge stat. It’s a stat used as a requirement for spell upgrades, and it also determines how much mana you’ll have during combat. |
| Bookworm | Spell upgrades require less mana. | |
| Elemental Rage | Increases the damage from periodic effect (i.e., damage-over-time) spells. | |
| III | Secret Advantage | Increases your hero’s Magic Power. It’s the stat used to determine the damage of the spells you cast, as well as the duration of periodic effects. |
| Summoning | Increases the rank of summoned creatures. | |
| IV | Supreme Magic | Use the Book of Magic to cast spells twice during each round. |
