While you’ll have your choice of locations around the world and biomes to set up your zoo, the species you can immediately adopt are restricted, alongside a limited number of marketing spots.

As you grow, your Accreditation Level will increase, and with it, more content is available. Here’s a breakdown of how it all works.

The Accreditation Level in Planet Zoo 2’s Franchise mode restricts you from some content immediately, requiring you to progress and grow your reputation.

When you start, you’ll have 32 available species to add to your zoos, with the rest of the roster locked behind progression. This includes the likes of lions and elephants at tier 5, the highest of them all.

It’s not a complicated process to progressing and advancing, however, though the key thing to note is you cannot unlock everything by having just one zoo created.

How to Raise Planet Zoo 2 Accreditation Level

Raising the Planet Zoo 2 Accreditation Level in Franchise requires meeting specific objectives, which means you’ll need to have several zoos and Wildlife Reserves created.

For maximum level and all the unlocks, you’ll need at least two zoos and three Wildlife Reserves, achieving three Reputation Stars in each zoo and three Biodiversity Stars in each Wildlife Reserve.

While this might sound complex, the best approach for the Wildlife Reserves is to focus on the three European reserves, as there’s plenty of crossover in the releasable species.

In the table below, you’ll see each of the various stages of the Accreditation Level and the requirements for reaching them.
