Walk towards Lake Sumac, and you should see a Hylian woman named Koyin. She tells you that she dropped a bottle with a letter inside in the lake. This will start the ‘A Letter to Koyin’ Side Adventure.

How you get that letter in a bottle is up to you. Personally, I brought out a Frost Emitter Zonai Device, and created ice slabs with the lake water. Then, I used Ultrahand to slowly make a path towards the bottle, and brought it back.

Bring the letter to Koyin, and she’ll now head back into her house to discover what the letter says. It actually holds a recipe for Hateno Cheese, and once you talk to her again inside the home, she’ll start a cheese shop.

Now, if you ever head back to Hateno Pasture, you can purchase Hateno Cheese from Koyin. For just 20 Rupees, you can purchase one piece of cheese. With Hateno Cheese, you can create Hylian Tomato Pizza, by cooking it with a Hylian Tomato and Tabantha Wheat. This meal will replenish six of Link’s hearts. There are plenty of other unique recipes using Hateno Cheese, so start experimenting!
