How to Get Conservation Credits in Planet Zoo 2
All the details and tips on how to earn Conservation Credits quickly and efficiently in Planet Zoo 2, so you can add more species.
Planet Zoo 2 has plenty of challenges to digest, and a core part of succeeding in Franchise mode is ensuring you have a ready supply of Conservation Credits to spend.
Conservation Credits are a special form of currency in Planet Zoo 2 for purchasing animals and are extremely important, as the majority of animals require this, rather than up-front cash.
Conservation Credits are an important resource in Planet Zoo 2, especially early on, so here are some tips on how to earn them quickly.
How to Get Conservation Credits in Planet Zoo 2
Release Animals
Releasing animals to the wild in Planet Zoo 2 is a quick way to earn Conservation Credits, especially if you complete Release Groups and send the animals to a Wildlife Reserve you have created.
However, not every animal is available to release to a Wildlife Reserve, but the good news is that every animal can be released, although those not in a Wildlife Reserve won’t be able to be followed to see their progress.
Rarer and more endangered animals will provide a higher amount of Conservation Credits when released, so bear this in mind when you’re managing.
Say Hello to Visitors
While in Franchise Mode, you will periodically get visitors to your zoo that are marked as VIP, representing the avatar and account of a friend or another Planet Zoo 2 player.
When you say hello to the avatar in the game and greet them, you’ll receive a small amount of Conservation Credits.
While this isn’t enough in itself to fund the purchase of a rare animal, every little helps, and it’s an easy way to earn a gradual boost.
Complete Community Challenges
Frontier Developments regularly provides Community Challenges to complete, which provide a variety of rewards, including Conservation Credits.
Progress is marked across the whole community, but there are often individual rewards to earn for your own progress, so make sure you are contributing and doing your part.
Community Challenges come in a variety of forms, but often include breeding specific types of animals or releasing them to the wild.
Sell Animals on the Market
As well as releasing animals for Conservation Credits or selling them for cash, you can also sell them for Conservation Credits in Franchise mode, which can then be picked up by another player in the world.
This is one of the most effective ways to earn a large amount of Conservation Credits, especially if you’re breeding endangered animals or manage to strike gold and breed an albino or leutistic animal, which are rare variants and command a premium.
In truth, this is the best way to manage any excess animals you breed in your zoos, aside from releasing them to Wildlife Reserves, and should be your go-to option.
