A full overview of what to expect in the annual Fortnitemares event, as Epic Games brings even more collabs to Fortnite.
Fortnite’s annual Halloween event is on the horizon and Epic Games is giving players plenty to sink their teeth into in the latest Fortnitemares event.
Previous years have been headlined by the likes of Jigsaw from Saw and Jason from Friday the 13th, and Epic Games is pulling out the stops with huge collabs once again.
If you can’t wait to enjoy everything that Epic Games is preparing for Fortnitemares, here’s an overview of everything to expect.
All Fortnitemares 2026 Collabs
Fortnitemares 2026 is headlined by the long-awaited debut of Five Nights at Freddy’s characters, with Freddy Fazbear and co. taking a leading role in this year’s event.
A pre-event teaser highlighted the arrival of a “cursed cartridge” that is corrupting the Battle Royale island, featuring new Overrides, weapons, and killer collabs.
Key art and the event trailer revealed the likes of Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street, Slenderman and Beetlejuice, alongside collabs with Obsession and The Purge.
All New Fortnitemares Sprites
So far, two new Sprites have been revealed, with a Pumpkin and Vampire Sprite making their debut, which will likely be followed by additional rarity variants to hunt down later in the Fortnitemares event.
No additional Sprites have been revealed other than those two, but there’s still plenty of time for collab Sprites to be announced, or for other spooky-themed Sprites to enter the fray.
What Else is Coming in Fortnitemares?
A slew of new POIs are coming to Battle Royale, including Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, a Battlewoods Gravegate update, alongside more yet-to-be-revealed details.
Epic Games is also unvaulting a host of items and weapons from previous Fortnitemares events, including the Chainsaw and Witch Broom, and it’s expected there will be a ‘One Wish Willow’ item to coincide with the collab with Obsession.
It’s also been confirmed that the popular Horde Rush mode is returning, giving those who want to test their mettle against relentless waves of enemies and wanting to take a break from Battle Royale something else to enjoy.
