Torment: Tides of Numenera
Torment: Tides of Numenera is a testament to the tribulations of following a universally established creative triumph. Well worth playing, nonetheless.
Total War: Warhammer 2
Some lingering series quirks persist, but other smart lessons from the first game have been applied to Total War: Warhammer 2. Another four mechanically diverse factions, each pursuing a singular campaign goal on a richly detailed map, make this a powerful sequel.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
Not as fresh as its predecessor, but a really well-written single-player shooter with plenty of options and plenty to do.
XCOM 2: War of the Chosen DLC
It revamps and revitalises XCOM 2, basically; it offers more customisation, adds actual villains who taunt you and show up seemingly at random, and heavily mixes up the tactical options available to you. It breaks a lot of the XCOM 2 rules in interesting ways, both with your characters and your opponents. Plus it fixes a lot of the lag and slowdown, which is nice.

Bayonetta
If you’ve yet to play Bayonetta and want to see PlatinumGames at what’s arguably their finest, then, there’s little reason not to try it out on PC.
Vanquish
It’s been a long time coming, but the uncapped frame-rate, scalable graphics options, 4K support, and satisfactory mouse and keyboard controls finally give Vanquish a definitive home on PC.
StarCraft Remastered
Sharper HD textures, remastered audio (including dialogue), and automated matchmaking were all part of the new version. StarCraft’s relevance in PC gaming history (and its eSports present) wasn’t in any danger of disappearing, but it’s good to see a company apply some sensible modern trappings to their older classics.
