Hilarious New Resident Evil 2 Remake Mod Adds GTA’s CJ and Big Smoke

From Mr. X in a bikini, to replacing the him all together with an enemy from another game, the list of impressive mods for Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake continues to grow. Some, hilarious – others, badass, but this latest one is in its own category by how it outmemes a meme.

If you’ve been on social media this past week, chances are you’ve run into a “here we go again” meme with CJ vs. Big Smoke from Grand Theft Auto. One modder apparently saw this meme and felt it needed to be taken a step further by making it a full-on mod for Resident Evil 2. Naturally – though we can’t say we mind, it’s hilarious! That, and it takes my mind off of how big of a wimp I am when I play horror games. 

The mod in question comes from YouTuber ‘BeastGamingHD’, and he’s definitely no stranger to bringing awesome mods to the world of Capcom. For this one, Leon Kennedy and Mr. X are replaced by CJ and Big Smoke to recreate the famous GTA scene, but with an undead twist.
