This page will show you how to find and kill Drevis, Wolf Baroness at the Forgotten Shore on Earth, part of the Destiny: House of Wolves expansion.
If this Bounty is currently available you’ll be able to find it by visiting The Reef and speaking with Petra Venj. If she has it listed, pick it up. If she doesn’t, wait for her stock to refresh. Of course, you can still hunt and kill Drevis, Wolf Baroness even if there isn’t a Bounty, you just won’t get the Queen’s Wrath reputation for you troubles. You will, however, still get an Ether Key to open up a chest at the end.
Wanted: Drevis, Wolf Baroness
Make your way to Orbit and set a course for Earth. When you arrive, hop on your Sparrow and head to the left, going through the canyon and up the hill to the Mothyards. From there, weave through the old planes and head to the right side of the area. There will be another winding canyon with a river in the middle of it. Follow the river until you reach the Forgotten Shore, at which point you should see a broken ship in the middle. Hang out on top of the ship so you have a good view of what’s going on.
The event could take up to 10 minutes to activate. This depends entirely on when the last one ended, so the times will vary. When it does start, get ready to fight four or five waves of high level Fallen enemies that are dropped into the world via a Fallen Skiff. You’ll know Drevis is inbound if you get a message about Wolves in the bottom left corner of your screen.
During the first wave, focus on taking out the Scorch Captains, who will drop Scorch Cannons when they fall. These are 10 round rocket launchers that you can pick up and use to defeat the following waves of foes that will drop in. In fact, if you are doing this solo, you should have a really good chance at using these to defeat every wave, except for perhaps Drevis, Wolf Baroness herself at the very end.
As mentioned, Drevis, Wolf Baroness will appear during the final wave, and will be by far the most difficult of the enemies to take down. The key here is to get to a spot where you can’t be touched, then use up all of your Heavy Ammunition, Grenades and Super Ability to take her out. If you can’t get to a spot where you are safe, stay on the move at all times to avoid your foe’s powerful melee strikes.
When Drevis, Wolf Baroness finally does hit the dirt, look in the bottom left corner of your screen to see a message about an Ether Key, and note that there is a 90 second timer. You must find a chest and loot it before that timer runs out, otherwise you will miss out on some pretty cool rewards (potentially).
The trick with the chest is that it can spawn in several locations, but you can often find it by looking for a thin beam of light shooting out of the top. If you can’t spot that, pay attention to the other players that participated in the event, as there is almost always someone who knows the various locations like the back of their hand.
