Destiny – Repeater Shanks

Find the Repeater Shanks at N/Gen Branch on Venus.

This article will show you where to find the Repeater Shanks at the N/Gen Branch on Venus. This Queen’s Wrath Bounty is obtained by visiting Petra Venj at The Reef, and is part of the Destiny: House of Wolves DLC.

This particular Bounty is not the kind that will give you an Ether Key and allow you to open a chest for completing it. The only reward is the possibility of a Token of Flight, Token of Judgement or Token of Identity, but most players have enough of those to last a lifetime. Other than that, the XP and reputation that you receive for handing the Bounty in to Petra Venj is the only reward. For this reason, tracking and eliminating the Repeater Shanks is not a worthwhile task if there isn’t a Bounty for them. Also, if Petra Venj is not offering a Bounty for them, check back each Tuesday at 5:00 AM EST (when her stock refreshes) to see an updated inventory.

Wanted: Repeater Shanks

Make sure your Fireteam is ready (although you won’t need one) and take them to Orbit. From here, choose the option to Patrol on Venus. This will take you to the Headlands, so summon your Sparrow and ride forward and to the right. It won’t be long before you’re on the Shattered Coast, riding past a group of Fallen enemies who are scattered between some old cars. Continue on until you see some stairs on your left that you can ride up, doing so and entering the nearby building. You’re in the right spot if your travels take you to an underground tunnel, and then to the Ishtar Academy with a giant statue in the middle. Pass the statue and go through the building to the Ishtar Commons, going by the giant tree in the middle (pass it on the right) and up the large stairs by the broken tree stump. Pass through that building and you will find yourself at the N/Gen Branch.

The Repeater Shanks you seek are in the building to the right of where you enter. They will be flanked by some Fallen foes, and the Shanks themselves will be level 28 enemies, but you should have no trouble taking them out. Any Guardian who is level 30 or higher can likely one-shot these Shanks with a powerful Shotgun. Use whatever weapon you prefer, exterminating Shanks until you see the Bounty pop up as completed on the right side of your screen.

If you have other Bounties you need to complete on Venus, you may wish to return to Orbit and then load back in on a Patrol mission. It’s not a short trip to get back to where you started, and the chances are you can’t summon your Sparrow here.

Whatever you decide to do, you’ll have to return the completed Bounty to Petra Venj for your reward. We typically suggest letting the Bounties pile up (doing more before turning them in) just to keep the process streamlined.
