Sightseeing Around NYC in Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Visit Times Square and Central Park in a virtual world with no COVID.

If you’ve always wanted to visit New York City but haven’t had the time, money, ability, or you’ve avoided making the trip because vacationing during a pandemic is a really bad idea, you may find a workaround in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

In the game, you’ll spot a number of popular NYC destinations like Times Square, Central Park, and the Empire State Building all rendered in beautiful, somewhat realistic detail.

While it’s true that you could also tour NYC in 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales lets you see these sites with added clarity thanks to the graphics optimized for PS5.

The game looks absolutely beautiful in every way possible.

Sightseeing Around NYC in Spider-Man: Miles Morales

In Spider-Man: Miles Morales you can admire the hot dogs at Teo’s Bodega, see dirt and dust on skyscraper windows, explore Miles’ neighborhood which is full of colorful wall art and friendly people to chat with, and more.

If you’ve yet to purchase Spider-Man: Miles Morales, or you’re unable to afford the game right now but are curious to see what these iconic NYC sights look like in the game, we went around taking photo after photo and have compiled those photos in an Imgur album.

With that album, you’ll be able to see all of the images in high resolution. We’ve also included a few of our favorites down below in the event that checking out an Imgur album isn’t your cup of tea.

Looking up at the Empire State Building.

The statue outside the entrance to Central Park.

Radio City Music Hall.

St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Some of the beautiful graffiti found in the Spider-Man: Miles Morales version of NYC.

The hot dogs at Teo’s Bodega look amazing.

The Flatiron Building on a blustery winter day in NYC.

How the Spider-Man stole Christmas! Just kidding, but he does look a bit like the Grinch up there.

Again, if you’d like to check out the full album with high resolution images, head over to this Imgur link!
