Nintendo Treehouse Live – Gameplay Reveals and Details

Tune in to the Nintendo Treehouse livestream on January 13 for more details about new games coming to Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch is still quite a few months away, and while the game console is expected to launch in March, Nintendo haven’t released any big details about it quite yet. Last night Nintendo looked to rectify this issue, by holding a large presentation that revealed many new aspects about the Switch. To help things out, the Treehouse Live crew also held a livestream event today where they showcased several of the new games and items coming to the Nintendo Switch. Here are all the details we learned from the presentation.

We’ve already talked pretty extensively on what we know about the Nintendo Switch, like where you can watch the Nintendo Switch presentation, as well as all the details we have about its price, specifications, and more. Today, however, the Treehouse Live crew took to the stage to showcase several of the new games coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The presentation began with the crew showing off ARMS, an upcoming fighting game for the Switch that features several new and unique characters that will join Nintendo’s roster this Spring. To learn more about ARMS, head over to our full guide to everything we know about ARMS.

The crew also talked about the upcoming Collector Editions of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We also have all the details surrounding Breath of the Wild’s Master Edition, so check that out to see all the goodies included with that purchase. The amount of Master Editions are limited, though, so don’t wait too long to pick it up.

Konami also showcased a return to a fan-favorite series, Bomberman. Featuring many of the same unique features that made the original series so fun, Super Bomberman R is basically Super Bomberman with updated graphics, multiplayer, and other additional features. This return to a beloved series will also act as a launch title for the Switch, with fans able to pick it up on March 3, 2017. The Treehouse Live crew also showcased Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, which is set to bring the Wii U’s highly successful racer to the Nintendo Switch. The new version of the game will include all the DLC from the original game, as well as new characters, vehicles, and more. March is already a pretty big month for gaming in 2017, and the release of the Nintendo Switch only makes things bigger. Third party companies like Bethesda and Electronic Arts also announced their support for the upcoming console, announcing that Skyrim and Fifa will both be coming to the handheld hybrid sometime this year.
