Metal Gear Solid 5: How Do You Unlock Mission 46?

Were you able to unlock the secret mission in MGS 5?

There are plenty of secrets and collectibles in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, including Blueprints, Memento Photos and Cassette Tapes. Mysteriously, there is no Mission 46 in the game’s list of story missions.  Well, at least from what we can see.

Then again, this is a game by Hideo Kojima.

Turns out Mission 46 does in fact exist, but you must meet various conditions to gain access. How do you unlock the secret mission in The Phantom Pain? That’s a great question, and the apparently few know the answer. Konami? They won’t budge. Thankfully, we discovered quite a few MGS 5 Easter eggs.
