Developer Ready at Dawn built a quality resume that includes such critically acclaimed PSP video games as Daxter, God of War: Chains of Olympus and the series’ follow-up, Ghost of Sparta. The team’s PlayStation 4 project, The Order: 1886, had everyone buzzing after its E3 2013 debut. This third person shooter casts players as one of four knights in an alternate reality where humans battle half man, half beast mutants. Set in a steampunk environment, there appears to be a fun mixture of Victorian and sci-fi elements, as the heroes wield sophisticated weapons to combat the hordes of creatures.  You’ve probably killed countless enemies with bullets. We’ve yet to see the game in action, but with the promise of airships, gadgets and such toys as the Thermite Rifle and Arc Gun, The Order: 1886 may become one of the system’s must have adventures.
