What Is The Max Level In The Division 2?

Learn the current max level you can reach in The Division 2.
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Earning experience and leveling up is one of the main ways to track your progress in The Division 2, but as with any other online RPG/Shooter, you can’t keep growing more powerful forever. Keep playing and eventually you’ll reach the max level cap and will no longer be able to gain any more experience.

The current max level you can reach in The Division 2 is level 30. Don’t worry if you’re close to this though, as there’s plenty of content that won’t unlock until you’re there. For starters, there are plenty of late-game perks, skills and mods that aren’t available until players are level 30. One of the crucial of these is the inventory upgrade that’ll boost your storage spaces all the way up to 90, allowing you to collect around an awful lot more loot before returning to base.

The main draw of the max level right now are unique classes, skills and abilities you’ll gain access to in the form of Specializations. These classes all come with unique weapons to try and help to shake out the endgame experience a lot. There’s plenty to keep you busy without feeling like a grind, so you don’t need to feel like the game is over when you reach level 30.

The original Division game ran into some issues with players reaching its endgame before much was in place for them to do, but with The Division 2, Ubisoft made it clear before launch that they want there to be lots for players to spend their time doing once they’ve wrapped up the story.

In addition, there’s a good chance that future DLC or updates to The Division 2 will boost the max level, letting anyone who’s reached the endgame enjoy more challenges and action.
