A new Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass trailer has a hidden Pokemon surprise in store for those paying attention! Eagle-eyed Pokemon fans spotted an unknown Pokemon in the latest Pokemon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra trailer, which means one more new thing to look forward to when the DLC finally arrives. 

The latest Crown Tundra trailer has a lot to offer both newcomers and gamers familiar with the Pokemon franchise, but that doesn't mean there aren't also a few surprises in store as well. There are two distinct parts to the latest trailer with the former focusing on Isle of Armor and the latter sneaking in something unfamiliar. 

The above screengrab, courtesy of Dexerto, shows off an unidentified Pokemon emblazoned on the character's helmet. The Pokemon Reddit boards have started to filter in talks about the unknown Pokemon while scouring the trailer anew for any missed details.

We've still got a little bit to go before we can get our hands on Crown Tundra and Isle of Armor, but Nintendo has gifted fans with a lengthy new trailer that drops a ton of info for fans to dive right into, which you can see below: 

 

As for when players can get their hands on the new Pokemon Sword and Shield expansion experiences, Isle of Armor is poised to launch on June 17th, which is the first up DLC planned for release. As for the game itself, Pokemon Sword and Shield is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
