Fans come up with incredible ways to show their love for some of our favorite franchises out there. From fanart to cosplay, there is no limit to the creative nature that fandom has. The latest bit of fandom tribute comes from artist Camila Cumplido as she reimagines Animal Crossing characters as RPG classes!

Camila is an illustrator that hails from Chile and her entire aesthetic when it comes to her drawing style is beyond adorable. Plus, she made our favourite pup a bard, which only makes sense and is something we didn’t know we needed until now:

Tabletop gaming, especially D&D, has hit an all-time high when it comes to public interest and knowing there are at least 7 more D&D video games on the way, it’s easy to have fantasy on the brain. While we don’t have a full-on Animal Crossing RPG, this concept art makes it pretty easy to imagine one and … yeah, Nintendo, if you could go ahead and get on that, that’d be great.

While it’s no RPG, we do at least know that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is on the way, slated for a March 20th release! Be sure to follow our game hub here to stay up-to-date on what’s on the way!

“The Animal Crossing games offer players a unique and relaxing escape from the stresses of everyday life, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons builds on that by letting players build their own island utopia from scratch,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, about the upcoming game. “When Nintendo Switch owners pack their virtual bags and move into their new island home, they will experience more ways to customize their Animal Crossing life than ever before. Just like Nintendo Switch itself, the game lets you play the way you want to play.”
