Gun Trips TE > Verticals

Setup:

1. Hot route the HB to the right flat.

This play is a quick audible! It works by forcing a tough alignment for the defense. The TE won’t be pressed and can either cut inside or outside to the corner. It makes it very tough on a user-controlled defender.

Gun Trips TE > Pats Y In

On this play the TE cuts in. Use it as a changeup after attacking the corner route with Verticals for the TE route.

Gun Trips TE > PA Shot Wheel

Setup:

1. Hot route the TE to a slant.

2. Cancel the play action to the HB and swing right.

This play targets the flat to the left against zone and blitzes and crushes man-to-man with a quick slant by the TE over the middle.
