Fortnite Season 5 Weekly Challenges

Fortnite Season 5 is underway, and there are plenty of new weekly challenges to keep players occupied throughout the season. Fortnite’s challenges work a bit differently this season, however. Rather than being restricted to Battle Pass owners only, Season 5 now features two sets of challenges each week, one set for Battle Pass owners and another set that is free for everyone. 

Having more free weekly challenges available will allow players who haven’t purchased the Season 5 Battle Pass to continue to level up and unlock rewards throughout the season. However, if it’s the Legendary Ragnarok skin or Drift skin set you’re after, then you’ll have to fork over some V-Bucks to purchase the Battle Pass first, which will in turn unlock the second set of locked weekly challenges.

Season 5 – Week 9 Challenges

• Deal Damage with Explosive Weapons to opponents (500)
• Get Trick Points in a Shopping Cart or ATK (150,000)
• Follow the Treasure Map found in Shifty Shafts 
• Search a Chest (Stages)
• Stage 1: Search a Chest in Haunted Hills 
• Stage 2: Search a Chest in Shifty Shafts 
• Stage 3: Search a Chest in Lazy Links 
• Stage 4: Search a Chest in Tilted Towers

• Visit Different Stone Heads (7)

• Shotgun Elminations (4)
• Deal Damage with a Pickaxe to opponents (250)
• Use a Rift at different Rift Spawn Locations (10)
• Search between Three Oversized Seats
• Eliminate opponents (Stages)
• Stage 1: Eliminate an opponent in Greasy Grove 
• Stage 2: Eliminate an opponent in Lonely Lodge

• Deal Headshot Damage to Opponents (500)
• Harvest Building Resources with a Pickaxes (3000)
• Search Where the Stone Heads are Looking 
• Search Chests in Lonely Lodge (7)
• Complete Timed Trials (5)
• Minigun or Light Machine Gun Eliminations (2)
• Eliminate Opponents in Tilted Towers (3)

Season 5 – Week 5 Challenges

• Search Chests in Junk Junction (7)
• Use Rift Portals (3)
• Eliminate Opponents in a Single Match (3)
• Deal Damage to Players Using a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade (300 Damage)
• Hit a Golf Ball from Tee to Green on Different Holes (5)

• Jump Through Flaming Hoops with a Shopping Car or ATK (5)

• Search between a Gas Station, Soccer Pitch, and Stunt Mountain (1)

• Deal Damage to Opponents in a Single Match (500) 
• Use a Launch Pad (1)
• Follow the Treasure Map Found in Flush Factory (1) 
• Search Chests in Fatal Fields (7) 
• Shoot a Clay Pigeon at Different Locations (5)
