My excitement is through the roof since I saw the trailer for the Twisted Metal TV series that’s coming up as Twisted Metal 2 was my favorite PS1 game. Twisted Metal 2 is available in the PlayStation Store, and all of the nostalgia from the 90s is kicking in for every player that has laid their hands on this masterpiece. As a matter of fact, I still remember Twisted Metal 2 Cheat Codes by heart, and I am now proudly delivering them to you, our beloved reader, straight from my memory lane. Who knew that this knowledge would be useful a quarter of a century later? Here are all passwords (cheat codes) for Twisted Metal 2.

Before we hit the cheat codes list, I want to show you the trailer, if you haven’t seen it yet, by any chance:

All Twisted Metal 2 Secret Level Cheat Codes
In the level select screen (please note, this is limited to the 2-player mode) you need to press the following buttons in order (do not do it too fast, or it might not accept it).
- Cyburbia (the old level port) – Down, Up, L1, R1
- Jet Moto Track – Up, Down, Right, R1
- Rooftops (similar to New York a bit) – Down, Left, R1, Down

All Twisted Metal 2 Secret Character Cheat Codes
In the character selection screen, you should press the following buttons in order to unlock a new character (please note that you should press them fairly slowly, as the input may not be recognized if you’re too fast):
- Minion – L1, Up, Down, Left
- Sweet Tooth – Up, L1, ▲, Right

These cheats (or rather, abilities) can be activated in-game. These abilities spend your energy (which regenerates over time).
- Drop Landmine – Right, Left, Down
- Freeze – Left, Right, Up
- Jump – Up, Up, Left
- Napalm – Right, Left, Up
- Fire your currently chosen weapon behind you – Left, Right, Down
- Shield – Up, Up, Right
- Invisibility – Right, Down, Left, Up
- Minion’s Special – While Holding R2, press Up, Down, Up, Up

All Twisted Metal 2 In-Game Option Codes:
- Turn off Radar – Select + Left (+ indicates that you should press them simultaneously)
- Rearview mirror – Select + Right (for single-player only)
- Change Camera – Select + Up (in single-player, this changes between 3 angles, and in two-player mode, it changes between horizontal and vertical split-screen)

Back in the old days, pre-made passwords were made for gaining access to later levels, instead of having a save file. After you win a level, you would get a password that you can later type in to resume where you left off. In the Password menu, you can type the following passwords in order to gain access to different levels.
