How to Donate and What It Does in Fire Emblem Engage

Once you arrive at the Somniel, you might be overwhelmed by the assortment of activities you can take part in. From coercing your friends into making you home-cooked meals to fighting each other in the arena, there is no shortage of things to do.

But one thing you shouldn’t miss in Donation. Donations can be accessed in Café Terrace by approaching the bulletin board in the far-left corner. And while you might be thinking, “why in the world would I want to give a kingdom money? Don’t they have their own?”, which is very valid, donation offers very tangible benefits.

If you’ve just started the game, you’ll only be able to donate to Firene, the nation ruled by Queen Eve, and one day your prim blonde friends, Alfred and Celine. Click on their country, and you’ll see an assortment of tiers you can donate towards.

It’s almost always best to only donate “To Next Level”, as it will keep you from wasting precious gold. The following donation amounts earn these Levels:

  • Donation Level 2: 5,000
  • Donation Level 3: 10,000
  • Donation Level 4: 25,000
  • Donation Level 5: 50,000

You’ll receive an assortment of items and Bond Fragments each time you donate. But as you reach higher and higher tiers, you’ll receive better items and access to unique outfit sets. Reach Tier 5, and you’ll get some of the best weapons in the game.

But donating also offers one significant benefit: it increases your exploration bonuses within the region you donated to. That means you’re more likely to encounter rare enemies and see more resources for each skirmish that you can complete. And Skirmishes will be one of the primary ways that you level up your army.
