Fire Emblem Engage has no shortage of characters you can slowly bring into your army and the floating island you call home. And while many of those units will happily appear through the course of the main campaign, some require a little more effort. Here’s how to recruit all units in Fire Emblem Engage.

There are a grand total of 36 character that are playable in Fire Emblem Engage, Alear included. But to unlock all of them you’ll have to take on certain side missions and speak to the recruitable character with the right unit. Failure to do so can mean losing that recruitable character forever. For the sake of convenience, we’ve bolded the units that have a special condition to be recruited.

How to Get Tiki in Fire Emblem Engage (DLC)

After you’ve obtained the Expansion Pass, you’ll need to complete Chapter 6. When you visit the Somniel after this point, there is a random chance that you’ll receive a notification that a bracelet has been found in Lookout Point in the Somniel. Head there, and you’ll unlock the option to to sail to an island on the Southern end of the map. Do so, and you’ll encounter Tiki and her Paralogue, Divine Paralogue: Dragon Temple. And let me tell you… this is not an easy mission. To recruit Tiki you only need to defeat her.

How to Get Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claud in Fire Emblem Engage (DLC)

After you’ve obtained the Expansion Pass, you’ll need to complete Chapter 6. When you visit the Somniel after this point, there is a random chance that you’ll receive a notification that a bracelet has been found in Lookout Point in the Somniel. Head there, and you’ll automatically unlock the trio. Nothing more needs to be done, they’re sufficiently impressed that you managed to summon them at all.
