Where to Find Dandelions in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Dandelions are one of two flower types you’ll encounter immediately after starting your Disney Dreamlight Valley playthrough. Alongside the four Falling Penstemon varieties, dandelions spawn exclusively in the Plaza. This particular location means that, even before you leave the Plaza for the first time to enter Peaceful Meadow, you can pick some dandelions and other flowers to add to your storage.

Unlike the drooping appearance of Falling Penstemon flowers, dandelions have bright yellow flowers that shoot up toward the sky. There are no other color varieties, and no yellow Penstemons exist; If you see a yellow flower in the Plaza, it’s most likely a dandelion. However, If you don’t see any, pick up the other flowers in the area and wait for more to respawn!

Dandelions are a helpful flower for gifting and questing. If you want to knock out some early-game friendship quests, you can give NPCs your dandelions, among other flowers, to boost them a few levels. These are one of the most effective ways to increase friendship outside of providing favorite gifts! The other use is during quests, such as Elsa’s “What Home Feels Like” mission, asking you to get lemons, dandelions, garlic and onions.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available to play on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation platforms through the official website. If you’re interested in reading more about the game, check out Where to Find Sunflowers and How to Make Fish Pasta in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
