Which Pokemon can Learn Salt Cure in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

If you have battled against a Naclstack or Garganacl, you more than likely have been attacked with the Salt Cure move. After seeing its power, you may want to have one of your own Pokemon learn this move.

Here are all Pokemon than can learn Salt Cure in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:

  • Naclstack (Upon Evolution)
  • Garganacl (Level 24)

Unfortunately, only Nacli’s evolution chain can learn Salt Cure at the moment. This makes sense as they are the only salt Pokemon in the game. This makes both Naclstack and Garganacl extremely useful and sought after.

As you can see in the video above, the player is using Naclstack to defeat the powerful Great Tusk single-handedly. When paired with the Sturdy ability, Naclstack will survive all one-hit KOs if you keep healing it back to full health, all while Salt Cure is draining the opponent’s health.

If you hyper-train your Garganacl to Max Defense stats and use the Iron Defense move, you will have a virtually unkillable Pokemon and can let Salt Cure do its thing.

This seems to be an extremely strong strategy that many players have yet to be aware of!

Now that you know what Pokemon can learn Salt Cure in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it’s time to get out there and catch yourself a Nacli!
