How to Pre-order the Limited Run Games Dead Space Collector’s Edition

It's Isaac's Iconic Welding Helmet TM!

Electronic Arts is full speed ahead on the Dead Space remake, which is currently set to arrive on January 27, 2023. It seems like things are going according to plan, as survival horror and sci-fi fans can pre-order the game right now. There’s even a special limited Collector’s Edition, which doesn’t sound that special. But this one is being handled by Limited Run Games, meaning there’s a true scarcity to this one. Here’s what the Dead Space Collector’s Edition includes, how much it costs and how to secure a pre-order of your own.

Like many of its other products, Limited Run Games will only be taking pre-orders for the Dead Space Collector’s Edition for a… limited time. So while pre-orders are wide open (there’s no cutoff volume), you have up until the Dead Space remake’s release date to order a Collector’s Edition. Sounds weird that a limited SKU can be pre-ordered up to the game’s release date, but that’s because you won’t actually receive it until later.

The good news there is that even if you buy the Collector’s Edition, you’ll still get to play Dead Space when it launches. Limited Run Games will be shipping the actual game part of the set separately at launch, then the rest of the goodies when they’re ready. Limited Run Games merch can take quite a while to ship after the pre-order periods end, but that’s how made-to-order merchandise works. But hey, this way you won’t be seeing unsold copies collecting dust and fading in a GameStop window in five years. Assuming there’s still GameStops around by then, anyway.

The Dead Space Collector’s Edition is available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC over at the official Limited Run Games website. The price tag is a whopping $274.99 and it comes with all the stuff listed below:

  • Digital Origin Code (or physical console copy) for Dead Space
  • Dead Space Collector’s Box
  • Isaac Helmet
  • Full-size wearable helmet with working lights
  • Dead Space CD Soundtrack
  • Lithograph Print
  • Foil Stamped Lithograph Folio
  • Four Mini Posters
  • Ishimura Patch
  • Marker Enamel Pin
  • Metal 4″ Marker Statue
  • Dead Space SteelBook
