After entering the Ratatouille Realm, finishing Remy’s initial quest line and unlocking Chez Remy, you’ll gain access to Remy’s Pantry and cooking station. Periodically, characters will enter the restaurant, sit at a table and order food. Several questions might pop into your head. How do I make these recipes? How do I serve these dishes? Why should I complete these orders? To answer the first question quickly, we have a complete cooking recipe guide that you can check out to help you out.

After cooking the requested dish in the big, boiling pot at the back of the restaurant, head to the NPC and interact with them. You’ll find a button labelled “I have your order,” which, upon clicking it, will remove the dish from your inventory. You’ll fulfil the request and receive your reward, leading to the answer to the third question.

Once you serve a restaurant order, you’ll gain a large Friendship boost with the NPC. While this isn’t a huge increase if you give a one-star dish, the bonus is significantly greater for five-star foods. Even in later levels, you can potentially gain half or a full level depending on the star quality of the dish you serve. Despite not receiving any monetary rewards, this is still a decent benefit if you’re looking to upgrade some tools and need a boost to unlock a new Friendship quest.

Lastly, you may wonder why there are only one or two NPCs at a given time. By upgrading Chez Remy using Scrooge’s Construction sign, you’ll add more tables and chairs inside the restaurant. While this doesn’t mean you’ll suddenly have eight people in the establishment after two upgrades, you’ll often find 2-3 at a given time, depending on the time of day and how many upgrades you have.
