How to Unlock and Upgrade Chez Remy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To begin this long journey, you’ll want to head into Dream Castle and unlock the Ratatouille Realm. When choosing your first realm, pick “a restaurant with a great little chef”. From here, you can visit Remy’s restaurant and begin his quest line.

After entering Ratatouille Realm, you’ll start cooking alongside Remy to help him fill restaurant orders. You’ll make numerous dishes, including grilled fish, fruit pie and even the signature Ratatouille dish. Once you’ve made all these, speak to Remy to begin the second half of this process.

Once you’ve left the realm and returned to the village, place Remy’s house down and pay the 2000 star coin fee to build it. He will appear at the Chez Remy restaurant, where you can meet him and explore the area. Remy will ask you to buy a 2000-coin Restaurant Furniture Kit from Scrooge. Head to Scrooge’s shop, search his catalog for the kit and purchase it before returning to Remy.

Lastly, Remy will ask you to obtain various cooking ingredients:

• Oregano x10
• Carrot x15
• Raspberry x15
• Wheat x25

You’ll find oregano plants and raspberry bushes scattered around the village. Wheat and carrot seeds are also purchasable from Goofy’s Stand. However, you’ll have to upgrade the stand once to unlock wheat seeds.

After gathering all four resources, find Remy once more to wrap up the quest. You can now buy cooking ingredients from Chez Remy!

How to Upgrade Chez Remy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Next on the list is to buy some improvements! To upgrade the Chez Remy restaurant, head to the front of the building and look for the orange Scrooge construction sign. Scrooge will appear, telling you the price of the upgrade. The first ever upgrade costs 10000 Star Coins, making it fairly expensive, especially early on when you may only have a few thousand coins.
