Resistance 3 developer Insomniac Games has announced Global Resistance, a free-to-play online strategy game.

It’s designed to complement PlayStation 3 exclusive shooter Resistance 3. You enlist as a Chimera or Human commander and take over the world.

If you do, you’ll unlock exclusive Resistance 3 multiplayer skins, in-game titles and XP boosters.

Global Resistance is live now on www.myresistance.net/global. You have to sign into MyResistance.net with your Facebook or PSN Username in order to check it out.
