KOTOR gets Steam release

BioWare’s massively popular Star Wars RPG is now available to download via Steam or Direct2Drive.

People lucky enough to have made it to the Penny Expo Arcade were given the chance to get the game as a freebie, whereas it’ll cost $9.99 on Steam.

The game was released back in 2003 on Xbox (with the PC version a few months later). It was a hugely successful foray into Star Wars territory and eased the idea of playing RPGs gently into the console playing masses’ conscience.
