With Patch 6.1 Final Fantasy 14 has added the first wing of the new Alliance Raid. The Myths of the Realm Raid will finally see us square up against the Twelve Gods of Eorzea, or so we think. In order to unlock the first wing, you’ll need to do some quests before unlocking the actual Duty.

Where to Start Myths of the Realm FFXIV Raid Quest

In order to start this quest chain, you’ll need to head to Old Sharlayan, which you’ll only have access to if you’ve progressed in the Patch 6.1 content through the new dungeon. You won’t be able to start the chain until you’ve progressed a decent way into the patch.

Once you’re in Old Sharlayan you’re going to look for the NPC titled Fresh-Faced Student. They will have the mission titled A Mission in Mor Dhona which is the first mission in the quest chain. The coordinates for this NPC are (X:9.1 Y:11.5).

Once you’ve talked to them just follow the quest along, there are four quests in the sequence. If you’re looking for more about FFXIV Patch 6.1 take a look at the job changes or some of the Alliance Raid armor. There is plenty to sink your teeth into with the new story and raid content being presented.
