Elden Ring is the latest game developed by From Software, which is notorious for having interesting multiplayer components to its games. Elden Ring is no different in that regard, although some of the systems have been slightly tweaked to fit the open-world nature of the game.
Yes, Elden Ring has Co-op play for those looking. In previous From Software titles, you would drop a summoning sign and wait for someone to either answer the call or fade into existence.
In Elden Ring, the same is true, but a new feature called the Summoning Pool allows players to drop a line in Co-op at a Summoning Pool and have their sign show up in multiple different areas of the map.
This means you don’t have to find your friend’s location in-game to summon them. All you have to do is use the Small Golden Effigy item which will send a cooperative Summon Sign to active Summoning Pools in the vicinity.
Your co-op partner won’t leave unless they die, you kill the area boss, or you use the Finger Severer item to send them back home.
That’s everything you need to know about co-op in Elden Ring. If you’re looking for more coverage be sure to read our 9.5 out of 10 review or check out some more guides.
