The long-awaited next entry in the Skate franchise received a bit of news today. While we still don’t have any real details about the game itself we did learn today that it will be coming to PC.

We got a small trailer earlier in the year that showcased skaters in a motion capture studio and fans reacting to a trailer we didn’t actually get to see. However, it’s at least nice to know that the game is coming along.
The news of the PC version comes from the official Skate Twitter, which simply tweeted
“PC_confirmation.exe” with a small video of some tricks and the Skate logo appearing on an old computer monitor.
Maybe one day we will actually get a trailer or gameplay for this game, but it doesn’t seem like the team is ready to give fans anything of substance quite yet.
Fans have been waiting years for the next installment in the franchise. Skate 3 came out in 2010, so it’s been over ten years.
If you still need your fix of Skate, for the time being, the first game is currently on Xbox Game Pass so you can boot that up to get hyped for whenever the new one comes out.
