Give Bungie some birthday money

Alongside all the news this afternoon regarding Destiny 2’s Witch Queen expansion, Bungie also announced something a little extra. To celebrate this company being around for three decades, Destiny 2 players will be able to purchase a DLC pack sometime in December 2021.

This pack includes lots of new content, from returning weapons to a new dungeon.

The new dungeon is called Dars of Eternity, which is a six-player Offensive-style outing. As seen in the stream this afternoon, the Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack also includes the following:

  • Exotic Weapon
  • New Dungeon
  • Four Emotes
  • Two Universal Ornament Sets
  • Unique Helmet Ornament
  • Exotic Ship & Sparrow

There’s a bit more detail on the official Destiny Twitter, showing off some of the goodies. One thing in particular Bungie pointed to is that the famous weapon, Gjallarhorn, will be included in the DLC.

If you’re playing Destiny 2 on Steam, a preorder page for the Destiny 2 Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack has already gone live, and it’s listed at a $24.99 price. There isn’t really any more information there, otherwise.
