List of All New Update Pokemon Added to New Pokemon Snap

The free update for New Pokemon Snap available as of August 3 has given players the opportunity to snap photos of 20 new Pokemon. Additionally, three newly added areas give players an opportunity to snap new (and potentially better) photos of Pokemon previously found in the game.

For example, Secret Side Path gives you a chance to snap some adorable Emolga pics! Wondering what all 20 Pokemon added to New Pokemon Snap through the August 3 update are? Here’s the full list in alphabetical order!

  • Cleffa

  • Crustle

  • Diglett

  • Drillbur

  • Feraligatr

  • Foongus

  • Gliscor

  • Gyarados

  • Koffing

  • Rockruff

  • Salazzle

  • Scolipede

  • Shroomish

  • Snorlax

Some of these Pokemon are easy to find such as Psyduck and Shroomish. Meanwhile, others present a challenge like Gyarados (which we have a guide on how to photograph) and Salazzle. All in all, the free content update is pretty meaty in terms of new things to do in the game.

Each of the newly added areas has both a Day and Night course, and like other courses in the game, opportunities to photograph Pokemon will expand as you increase your Research Level for each individual area.

Now that you know all 20 Pokemon added to New Pokemon Snap through the free August 3 update, we’re curious what your thoughts are on all of this. Are you happy about the free update? Have you snapped photos of all 20 Pokemon already?
