Xbox Series X|S Optimization Announced For A Plague Tale Innocence

While the game already looks incredible and runs well, this new update will put the game into a silky smooth 60 frames per second, as well as 4K resolution. The trailer, which can be seen below also states other “Visual Enhancements”.

This update comes out on July 6, 2021. So it’s just a few weeks away. This update will also be free for all existing owners of A Plague Tale Innocence.

If you haven’t check out the game yet, you can on Xbox Game Pass to get yourself caught up before the sequel A Plague Tale Requiem releases in 2022. Requiem was announced last week during the Xbox Bethesda Showcase.

The official description for A Plague Tale Innocence can be found directly below.

“Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other. As they struggle to survive against overwhelming odds, they will fight to find purpose in this brutal, unforgiving world.”

Team Asobo has clearly been hard at work at building out its franchise.
