Were you surprised to hear God of War: Ragnarok has been delayed to 2022?
Not even a little bit! I forgot there was even a 2021 target in the first place. There’s no way that game had a chance to make it this year.
Do you think Horizon Forbidden West will be able to release later this year?
I think it’s possible, but I also think not settling on that yet is the reasonable thing to do. Sony isn’t afraid to delay games, so if it happens it happens.
What are you most excited to see during this year’s digital E3 extravaganza?
Always down for that Nintendo Direct hype. There’s nothing quite like it.
What’s the strangest piece of news that caught your eye this week?
Definitely Dark Horse getting in on videogames. I have no idea how that works out but I’m very curious.
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
I’m having fun with everyone’s responses to my E3 features! Collabs are great.
Are you playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
Yep, lots of embargos going up next week so I’m pretty slammed!
Have any TV, anime, movie, or music recommendations that you’d like to recommend?
The Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy is coming to Netflix this month and those are absolutely worth watching. The series is better, but more of a time investment.
Bonus question, if you were to create a music video using video game footage, what video game and what song would you choose to mash up together?
Skee-Lo’s “I Wish” set to Luigi footage from games like Luigi’s Mansion and Mario Party.

Were you surprised to hear God of War: Ragnarok has been delayed to 2022?
Not in the slightest, honestly never believed that game was coming out this year. However, it is sort of misleading on Sony’s end to announce it as the one more thing at the showcase where PS5 pre-orders went live. It almost seems like they knew that game wasn’t going to ever make 2021.
Do you think Horizon Forbidden West will be able to release later this year?
I think Sony will try and do everything in its power to make that happen. It’s going to be such a big release for them that getting out for the holiday would be huge. However, with the limited availability of PS5s currently, maybe it’s best to hold off.
What are you most excited to see during this year’s digital E3 extravaganza?
Who knows anymore, I feel like there are so many conferences it’s hard to keep up. That being said though I am excited to see whatever weird announcement Nintendo has up its sleeve.
What’s the strangest piece of news that caught your eye this week?
SEA OF THIEVES VINYL
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
All of the E3 collaboration posts we made this week were a lot of fun, I really enjoyed working on them. Big shoutout to Lucas for the ideas and execution!
Are you playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
Just a bunch of stuff that I can’t talk about yet 🙂
Have any TV, anime, movie, or music recommendations that you’d like to recommend?
I watched Bo Burnham’s Inside comedy special and I highly recommend it to anyone. It’s a huge reflection on a lot of what we went through this past year.
Bonus question, if you were to create a music video using video game footage, what video game and what song would you choose to mash up together?
This is a tough question, Idk if I have an answer to it, but one that already exists is the Hellblade Senua’s Saga reveal trailer where they use a Heilung song and it rules.

Were you surprised to hear God of War: Ragnarok has been delayed to 2022?
I wasn’t surprised, no. We haven’t really seen or heard much about the next God of War game since its announcement.
Hearing that development started after Horizon Forbidden West, it makes sense that we wouldn’t see God of War: Ragnarok until 2022.
Do you think Horizon Forbidden West will be able to release later this year?
I am keeping myself optimistic on this one because Horizon Forbidden West is my most anticipated game of 2021. Well, hopefully 2021 lol.
What are you most excited to see during this year’s digital E3 extravaganza?
I am most excited to see the announcements coming from Nintendo I think.
I’d love to see some new hardware, would love a glimpse of Breath of the Wild 2. Very excited for Nintendo’s showcase.
What’s the strangest piece of news that caught your eye this week?
Not this week, but last week I wrote a piece about Kelsier from Brandon Sanderson’s book series Mistborn coming to Fortnite and I saw the character outfit in the game today and it’s so… strange.
I love it, but it’s not something I ever expected to see that’s for sure.
Favorite piece(s) on the site this week, and why?
I really enjoyed reading through Lucas’s hands-on with Samurai Warriors 5, and I loved Jesse’s coverage of the Sea of Thieves vinyl set.
Are you playing any fun or exciting video games this weekend?
I am, but I don’t know if I can talk about what that game is without spoiling the feature I’m writing. I also may play a little Tetris if I have some free time, though I don’t anticipate having too much.
Stay tuned next week for some cool articles from me though, I’m really excited to share them!
Have any TV, anime, movie, or music recommendations that you’d like to recommend?
I do! And you know me, it’s a kpop music recommendation of course.
My boys in Monsta X are back with a new music video for Gambler and it’s so, so, so good. “Zero zero lucky bang!”
Bonus question, if you were to create a music video using video game footage, what video game and what song would you choose to mash up together?
I’ve actually edited together a “few” lol. I was in high school back when AMVs of Dragon Ball and Naruto set to songs like Phenomenon from Thousand Foot Krutch were popular so I still make stuff like that when I want to kick back and do something creative (also nostalgia).
But yeah, I mashed together Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice with the song Passive by A Perfect Circle. I think it works really well and I’m very proud of how it all came together in the end.
