Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERGRADE Final Trailer Reveals New Characters, Fort Condor Game and More

Wasn't expecting Fort Condor coming back, frankly

Square Enix released a new trailer this morning for Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERGRADE, the upcoming PS5 update to last year’s hit RPG. This new trailer includes a lot of new footage for both the “base” game and the INTERmission starring Yuffie, the highlights including a new character and an updated minigame from the original Final Fantasy VII.

In previous footage for INTERGRADE, we’ve seen Weiss make an appearance, one of the antagonists from Compilation of Final Fantasy VII. This time we see actual combat with Weiss, and he’s fighting Cloud and company. We also see Nero for the first time, who was a boss originally in Dirge of Cerberus. He’s shown up against Yuffie, who also encounters Shinra’s Scarlet in more tidbits shown for that story.

Remember Fort Condor? The original Final Fantasy VII featured a rudimentary RTS-type minigame, for better or worse. Fort Condor is making an appearance in INTERmission, this time shown as a tabletop game of sorts being played by kids in Midgar. This time the game looks more MOBA-inspired, but that’s just from a few seconds of footage.

Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERGRADE is only a month away, set to land on the PS5 on June 10, 2021. Let us know what you think about this new information over at Prima Games’ Twitter and Facebook feeds!
