Xbox Game Pass for May Includes Dragon Quest Builders 2

Dragon Quest Builders 2, Outlast 2, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, and more!

The lineup of games coming soon to Xbox Game Pass during the month of May 2021 have been revealed. Some of the games that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to include Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Outlast 2.

Xbox Game Pass for May Includes Dragon Quest Builders 2 

The Xbox Game Pass games being added to the service in May 2021 were revealed in a recent Xbox Wire post. Among the Game Pass additions for May 2021 are Dragon Quest Builders 2, Outlast 2, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster, Psychonauts, and more.

Below, we’ve listed all of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass in May, the exact date they’ll be available, and on which platforms.

  • Dragon Quest Builders 2 (Console, PC) – May 4

  • FIFA 21 (Console, PC) – May 6

  • Outlast 2 (Console, PC, Cloud) – May 6

  • Steep (Console, Cloud) – May 6

  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (Console, PC) – May 13

  • Just Cause 4: Reloaded (Console, PC, Cloud) – May 13

  • Psychonauts (Console, PC, Cloud) – May 13

  • Red Dead Online (Console, Cloud) – May 13

  • Remnant: From the Ashes (PC) – May 13

In addition to the above list of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in May, a list of DLC and updates for other games on the service was provided. Among these updates is the Locked and Loaded update for Fallout 76 which lets you upgrade your C.A.M.P. with brand new C.A.M.P. slots, S.P.E.C.I.A.L. loadouts, new Daily Ops, and more. 

For Minecraft players, you can look forward to a free R2-D2 Beanie in celebration of Star Wars Day on May 4. The R2-D2 Beanie will be available in Minecraft up until May 6.

The Star Wars celebrations don’t stop there either, as Apex Legends will have Red Leader and Imperial Ties Weapon Charms available May 4. You can read more about the DLC and updates in the Xbox Wire post.

And with the arrival of new Xbox Game Pass titles comes the inevitable departure of games. Towards the end of the Xbox Wire post, a list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass on May 15 was provided.

Leaving Xbox Game Pass – May 15

  • Alan Wake (Console, PC)
  • Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 (PC)
  • Dungeon of the Endless (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Final Fantasy IX (Console, PC)
  • Hotline Miami (PC)
  • Plebby Quest: The Crusades (PC) 

Again, those titles will be available until May 15 so if there are in the middle of trying to finish one of these games like Alan Wake, keep the May 15 deadline in mind.
