Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 11 Challenges are officially live, and one of the first tasks you’ll be able to cross off your list is one where you need to catch three different kinds of fish for Fishstick.
If you’re confused about any part of this process, we’ve got you covered with a quick guide going over what you need to do!
Fortnite Week 11 Challenges | How To Catch Different Kinds Of Fish For Fishstick
To complete the Fortnite Week 11 Challenge where you need to catch three different kinds of fish for Fishstick, the first thing you’re going to want to do is find a place to land with some solid fishing spots available.
For this Week 11 Challenge, we decided to land at Lazy Lake. There, you’ll find fishing barrels that you can search through in order to find a Fishing Rod, which you’ll need in order to catch fish for Fishstick.
With your trusty Fishing Rod in hand, you’ll need to look for a fishing spot. You’ll know you found one as they’re marked by a disturbance on the water’s surface. As you get closer, you’ll be able to see the fish swimming around underwater.
Occasionally, the fish will jump up out of the water, further alerting you to their presence. With your Fishing Rod, you’re going to want to aim and then cast out into the school of fish. When you get a bite, reel what you caught back in.
Sometimes you get a fish, sometimes you get a weapon, it’s entirely random. You’ll need to keep fishing until you’re able to reel in three different kinds of fish.
In the image below, we’ll show you the three different fish we were able to catch and add to our inventory.
Catching three kinds of fish is all you need to do to complete this Week 11 Challenge. You won’t need to deliver them anywhere or anything like that, catching them is enough.
As a reward for completing this Week 11 Challenge, you’ll earn 20,000 XP and are free to start tackling other Week 11 Challenges in Fortnite.
